Software update disabled iPhones

Since this week more and more owners report that an Apple software update delete contact information, picture and music on iPhones who was not modified.

Apple said many of the unauthorised iPhone unlocking programs caused “irreparable damage” to the device's software. Additionally they said this would “likely result in the modified iPhone becoming permanently inoperable when a future Apple-supplied iPhone software update is installed”.

Now iPhone owners should be contract with AT&T in the US.
