Rumor has it that Asus has the holy grail of handsets waiting in the wings, in the form of a new — but as of yet unamed — P series device.

We looked at its littler brother, the P526, at CeBIT this year and griped that it just needed a tweak or two to make it a real contender for Swiss Army knife award for flexibility in a mobile device.
