LG Rumor in Green for St. Patrick's Day

Sprint customers can get the luck of the Irish just in time for St. Patrick's Day as Sprint  and LG announce the availability of Rumor by LG in green. The phone featuring:

The green-colored Rumor by LG is the first device from both LG and Sprint to use environmentally-friendly packaging. The non-bleached, recyclable box is approximately 70% post-consumer waste and has an eco-friendly aqueous coating.

Offering a full QWERTY slide keyboard for easy text, email and instant messaging, LG Rumor provides quick access to instant messaging services including AIM, MSN and Yahoo! as well as several popular social networking communities. To personalize the text messaging experience, Rumor by LG offers the ability to assign "text tones" to address book entries for audible identification of text message senders.

Rumor by LG also has an integrated GPS, a 1.3 megapixel camera/camcorder with a 2x digital zoom, Bluetooth technology and an MP3 player. It works seamlessly with Sprint Music Manager, available through an easy software download, to allow users to quickly transfer unprotected songs from a PC to the handset and manage songs on a PC through an intuitive interface.

Measuring 4.3" x 2.0" x 0.7", Rumor by LG weighs just 4.13 ounces. This device is currently priced at $49.99 with a two-year service agreement, after a $30 instant rebate and a $50 mail-in rebate. All three color options - green, black and white - are now available at Sprint.
